Fans of BBC TV’s Strictly Come Dancing and all that glitz, glamour and choreography, can see the recently-crowned Strictly winner, Abbey Clancy, live this weekend.

Abbey is just one of the many stars of the show - celebrity and professional - lined up in the Strictly Come Dancing UK Tour.

Arriving at the First Direct Arena in Leeds tomorrow for a three-day stay, the tour sees Abbey joined by a host of stars, including fellow finalists Natalie Gumede and Susanna Reid, actor Mark Benton, former England Rugby player Ben Cohen, and Westlife heartthrob Nicky Byrne.

The judging panel features Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who will also direct the arena tour for the fourth year running.

They will be joined by former Strictly favourite Lisa Riley, who returns to the glitterball dance floor as host of the 2014 tour.

Abbey herself loves being on the road with all the familar faces from the successful TV show which saw her triumph in a nail-biting final watched by 12.5 million people.

Married to former England and Stoke striker Peter Crouch, the TV presenter was desperate not to hang up her dance shoes.

“For me Strictly has been the most incredible experience and I wanted to carry on forever. The tour is a brilliant opportunity to keep dancing.”

It’s a packed schedule for the Strictly team who will be presenting four performances in Leeds this weekend - Friday at 7.30pm, Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm and Sunday at 1.30pm.

BBC Breakfast star Susanna Reid, the 2013 runner-up, also built up a loyal following during her time on Strictly.

The 42-year-old TV presenter said: “Performing to such a big crowd, you get the instant feedback that you don’t get with TV.

“I got a taste of it during Strictly in front of the studio audience and more so at Blackpool and I am looking forward to it again on the tour.

“But I think I’ve already proved that, as a woman over 40 with three children, you can learn to dance with a gorgeous young teacher!”

On stage, each celebrity from the last series of Strictly will be dancing with their on-screen professional dance partners.

As well as the famous judging panel, the audience members get the chance to vote via their mobile phone.

The pairings are: Mark Benton and Iveta Lukosiute; Abbey Clancy and Alijaz Skorjanec; Ben Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff; Natalie Gumede and Artem Chigvintsev; Deborah Meaden and Robin Windsor; and Susanna Reid will be dancing with Kevin Clifton. Nicky Byrne will be dancing with his series 10 partner Karen Hauer, and Natalie Lowe will also be joining the tour.

The Strictly tour has provwen hugely popular in the last five years with 1.5 million ticket sales in total.
