RIPON coach Al Norrie sees no reason why his side can’t finish the season with a bang.
The Mallorie Park side are currently third bottom in the division.
But with games against Goole, Moortown and West Leeds to come, all at home, Norrie is staying positive.
Bottom club Goole are the first on the menu tomorrow (3pm ko).
“We just need to go out on Saturday and get the job done,” said Norrie.
“We know if we win it puts Moortown out of the picture.
“Goole will be a tough one though. They’re already down, the pressure will be off and they’ll just come and play.
“But if we play anything like I know we can, we’ll be OK.”
Ripon were without a game on Saturday with the league having a rest over Easter.
They come into it on the back of seven straight defeats.
Their latest setback was 42-16 defeat at Wath on Dearne.
The two previous, however, were a little more encouraging, defeats to Selby (22-20) and Skipton (15-10).
“There have been too many games this season where we’ve lost by the odd score,” continued Norrie.
“But our last game, the Wath result, I think the score was a bit harsh on us.
“There’s three games left now and they are all winable.
“Hopefully we can make ourselves safe on Saturday and then win the last two of the season.”
