Ripon’s traditional bank holiday race meeting is set to take place at Ripon Racecourse on Monday and Tuesday, August 26 and 27.
There are seven races on both days, with Bank Holiday Monday’s programme starting at 1.55pm with the highlight being the Ripon Champion Two-Years-Old Trophy 2013.
This £30,000 contest for precocious juveniles over six furlongs is supported by The European Breeders’ Fund under the Irish Stallion Farm banner.
Racing on Tuesday is set to start at 2pm, with the afternoon’s feature race being The attheraces.com City of Ripon Stakes, a handicap contest over 1.25 miles
As usual, children under-16 will be admitted free.
