Bedale Ladies hold Breast Cancer Awareness day

BEADLE Golf Club Ladies section held a Breast Cancer Awareness Day recently.

All the players were encouraged to dress up and wear something pink: the ladies, who collected £160 for the charity, played a Texas Scramble. The winning quartet was Gillian Petrie, Carol Shaw, Julie Noble & Kate Thompson with a score of 63.9 nett. The best costume prize went to the ‘Tea Ladies’ - Dulcie Exelby, Elizabeth Lawson, Wendy Mitchison & Catherine Westwell. The ‘Most Glamorous’ prize was won by Sue Lumb.
