Pupils from Brackenfield School enjoyed a fascinating morning with the England Rugby Team as they trained in Leeds prior to their victory against Scotland in their first match of the Six Nations.

They watched the squad as they were put through their paces on the pitch and met the players and coach afterwards.

Head of Games at Brackenfield, Mr.Olesqui, was delighted with the opportunity for the children to attend the session.

“This was a marvellous opportunity for the children to watch and meet the best players in the country.

“Rugby is very popular at Brackenfield and the children returned to school afterwards with immense enthusiasm to put into practise what they had seen and build on their rugby skills. We were delighted to have been invited to attend and wish to thank everyone at the RFU for arranging the visit.”
