Dan Clayton has rejoined Harrogate Town, just six months after leaving the club.
Clayton, 20, has signed from Skrill North rivals North Ferriby United for his third spell at the CNG Stadium.
Clayton originally joined the club in December 2011 and made his debut against Ossett Albion in the West Riding County Cup in January 2012.
Later that year, he scored a memorable goal in Town’s FA Cup fourth qualifying victory over Hyde.
He left the club in pre-season before spells at Skrill North sides Gainsborough Trinity and North Ferriby United.
He has signed for Town until the end of next season.
Boss Simon Weaver said: “ I am really pleased to get Dan back.
“He went to Gainsborough and North Ferriby to get some games and develop his skills and has certainly achieved both.
“He has come back to us a much more developed and focused player.”
Clayton has also represented Knaresborough Town, Boroughbridge, Ripon City, Glasshoughton Welfare this year.
