HARROGATE Town manager Simon Weaver this weekconcluded the signing of powerful midfielder Michael Tait from Blyth Spartans.
Michael becomes the third player to sign from Blyth following the capture of Paul Brayson and Stephen Turnbull.
Michael, 22, started his career at Darlington before moving to Gretna, Newcastle Blue Star and Workington. He signed for Blyth at the beginning of the 2009-2010 season and went on to make eighty-one appearances and scored 20 goals during his two seasons at Croft Park.
Harrogate Town Chief Executive Alan Williams had this to say about Michael’s signing, “We have just signed another exciting player in Michael. He is a strong midfielder who can score goals.
“Simon Weaver is putting together a strong squad for the coming season and it shows the clubs intent on mounting a serious challenge on the league.”
