Harrogate Town have re-signed prolific frontman Ryan Kendall after the striker was released by North Ferriby United.

The former Hull City trainee arrives at Town with a burgeoning reputation for goals, after scoring more than 60 goals for Ferriby in the last two seasons.

His 48 goals helped the Hull-based outfit earn promotion from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier during the 2012/13 season.

He also scored 15 goals in 40 appearances to help Ferriby challenge for the Skrill North title last season.

However, in his first spell at the CNG Stadium in 2010, Kendall only made one appearance for the Yellow and Blacks.

The 24-year-old striker has also played for Bradford City and Gainsborough Trinity.

Kendall signed for the Wetherby Roaders a week after former Altrincham hitman James Walshaw was welcomed to the club.

Town manager Simon Weaver said: “We are very pleased to have finally acquired the services of Ryan.

“We’ve always rated his strengths very highly.

“He’s a great lad and plays with hunger and I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
