Harrogate Town picked up a point from a respectable 1-1 draw at home to Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday.

The hosts took the lead at Wetherby Road in the Blue Square North contest, Shane Killock finding the net for Simon Weaver’s side.

But Park Avenue’s Richard Marshall equalised against his old side to scoop a point for the visitors.

Harrogate Railway meanwhile face an FA Cup replay on Tuesday night, after they were held 1-1 at home to South Shields in the preliminary qualifying round.

Shields took the lead at Station View with a 23rd minute strike, but Si Parkes levelled for Railway to earn them a trip to South Shields on Tuesday.

Their game at home to Goole on Bank Holiday Monday is postponed as a result.

Tadcaster Albion however move through to the next stage of the famed competition, after they beat Norton and Stockton Ancients 3-0 at home.

Nick Thompson,Charlie Binns and Danny Gray netted the goals for Albion.

Knaresborough Town were postponed at Teversal in the NCEL First Division.
