Changes will be made to Wetherby Athletic’s first team squad as unhappy boss Mark Forster seeks a style to overturn the side’s woeful league form.
Athletic dropped into the West Yorkshire League for the first time on Saturday after a crushing 6-1 defeat at Field.
Forster was absent for the clash as second team boss Des English led the side.
But, after another “luke-warm” performance, Forster said he would alter the personnel to bring in grittier characters.
“It is worrying,” said Forster.
“The pressure’s on. We need to get results.
“Relegation is unthinkable.
“We are going to have to change things. Perhaps I have to sacrifice technical ability for people who are winners.”
Josh Buckley and Craig Wainwright will return for Saturday’s home County Cup third round clash against Newsome.
New goalkeeper Leon Finney will also make his competitive debut after starring in Athletic’s friendly against Tadcaster Albion last week.
But Forster’s son Matty is out with a broken nose sustained in that game.
