SCARCROFT tennis sensation Georgia Craven has continued to turn heads with her performances in the recent U-18 quarter finals of the AEGON British Junior National Championships.

She beat Mari Takino 6-2, 7-6 to go on and face top seed Ruth Seabourne in the final.

“I’m pretty happy,” she said.

“I was trying to be aggressive in tough conditions, it was quite windy. I’ve been playing quite well recently.

“Looking ahead to the match against Ruth I’ve got nothing to lose so will just go for it and see how it goes.”

The AEGON British Junior National Championships is the national level junior tournament and has seen past champions including the current men’s and women’s British number one Andy Murray and Elena Baltacha.
