The message is clear, win the next four games and Beckwithshaw will be crowned 2012 Aire Wharfe Division One champions.

There are a few banana skins along the way, Saturday’s trip to Steeton being one, but it’s very much in their own hands.

Captain Ben Quick is hungry for success.

Victories over Steeton, Guiseley, Adel and Follifoot will be enough to take them to glory.

“It’s a big weekend for us,” he said.

“We’re playing Steeton who are fourth in the table. They beat us earlier in the season and that was the last game we lost, that was 12 games ago now. We’re playing Steeton, Collingham are playing Burley and that’s second v third respectively.”

On Saturday, Chris Dawson (58) and Andy Walker (68) set the platform for Bilton but a flurry of wickets saw them close on 199-9, Quick taking5-31.

John Inglis (42) and Yasir Ali (64) brought ‘Shaw home for a six-wicket win in reply, Richard Spittlehouse’s 3-55 in vain. Bilton travel to Guiseley on Saturday.

Follifoot are on the road to Kirkstall. They were beaten by title-chasing Collingham on Saturday. David Wright (4-48) and Matt Winter (5-41) produced electric spells as ‘Ham were all out for 197. Paul Angove top-scored with 32 in reply but ‘Foot were all out for 142.
