RAIN decimated most of the weekend's cricket programme.

HARROGATE saw no play at Barnsley in the Yorkshire ECB League, while the entire Aire Wharfe League schedule was rained off.

THIRSK v Easingwold in the Yorkshire Senior League was also cancelled through the weather, and SESSAY were also forced to stop proceedings against Woodhouse Grange at 15-3 because of the rain.

In Division Two of the Wetherby League, WHIXLEY closed at 41-0 before their clash with KIRK HAMMERTON came to a rain-affected close.

The Nidderdale League also saw a host of abandonments.
