UNBEATEN Ripon Panthers U-16 Girls brought their season to an end with a 6-2 win over Killinghall Nomads.
Jess Emms was twice the provider as a Sophie Reeves hat-trick and an Emily Turner strike had Panthers 4-0 up at the interval.

Killinghall rallied but Amelia Tearle and Sophie Harland netted two more and with the midfield of Katie Davill and Sammy Brennand dominating there were more chances created.

The defence was marshalled by Nat Mortimer and Beth Wilson as Ripon ended the season as unbeaten league champions.

Panthers manager Neil Anderson said: “It has been an excellent season and well done to all the girls.”

Meanwhile, Ripon City Panthers U-11s saw off Harrogate Railway 3-1 thanks to a Chloe Nixon brace and a strike from Lauryn Colman.

Caoilfhionn Hurley was named Panthers’ best player with Chole Nixon and Shannon Anderson sharing the best effort award.
