A RIPON sixth former is looking for help to pay for a charity trip to Mongolia after a last-minute change to his plans.
Alex Pearman, 17, a Year 12 student at Ripon Grammar, is travelling to the Asian country to do charity work with 17 other young people in a trip organised by Yorkshire Schools Explorers’ Society at the end of the month.

All arrangements for his five-week stay – which will involve helping tribal people and street children – were in place but Alex is now required to make a further flight while he is over there and needs to raise around £150 to pay for it.

Any individuals or businesses able to help Alex can contact him on 01765 603175.
