RIPON'S community choir, the Skelldale Singers, is looking for a new accompanist to replace pianist Stephen Hornsey, who has been with the group since it first formed 12 years ago.
Since then it has grown from just four singers to 70 who perform a wide variety of material from African and gospel through to popular and light classics.
The friendly and enthusiastic group meets on Tuesday evenings from 7.15 - 9.15 at Ripon College during term time and performs three concerts a year.
For further details, contact choral director Christine Hale on 01765 604564 (Monday to Friday) or e-mail chale@riponcollege.co.uk.
