New writers' group launched in Ripon

A NEW group for aspiring writers in Ripon is being launched next week.
The monthly Water Rat Writers’ Forum will meet for the first time on Monday at the Water Rat pub.

It starts at 7.30pm and is open to all.

“Feel free to bring along any prose or poetry you may have written for a lively, uncompetitive and, hopefully, enjoyable evening,” says organiser Tim Shackleton.

“Our aim is to exchange ideas and to offer constructive comments and advice wherever possible.
