Watches and medals stolen in burglary

Three gent’s watches and two medals have been stolen in a burglary at a home in Masham.

The break-in at the property on Westholme Road took place on Friday, November 7, and police are keen to trace two men wearing dark clothing and hoods who were seen acting suspiciously in the area at around 6pm.

The stolen items included a silver Armani watch with a black face and Roman numerals, a police watch with a silver strap and a white face and a Diesel watch.

Also taken were a Queen’s Jubilee medal and a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal.

Officers are appealing to anyone who saw the men or has any other information about the incident to contact them with information.
