Nativity play organisers are making an urgent appeal for new born lambs to star in their Christmas play.
The Old Farmyard Christmas nativity, which has been taking place in Ripley for 20 years, needs baby lambs to make up the cast.
The play already has donkeys, sheep, goats, cows, reindeer and heavy horses lined up to take part, but is still searching for Christmas lambs to complete the nativity scene.
The event takes place on Friday, December 14 from 7pm at The Old Farmyard, Ripley and raises money for Saint Michael’s Hospice and Ripley Church.
Knaresborough Silver Band will perform and there will be mince pies, hot drinks and a personal visit from Father Christmas.
Anyone who can lend the event a ewe and lambs should contact Kate Smith on 01423 772962. Transport can be arranged.
