The 26 children from Stagebox Musical Theatre Workshop were the only northern group chosen by the show’s producers and rehearsed and filmed the show at the prestigious Elstree Studios in May.

Stagebox is run by professionals, Emily Keston, LJ Keston and Sammy Murray and Emily said: “We are immensely proud of our Stageboxers and cannot wait to watch them on primetime television this weekend.

“The last year has been an amazing journey and we cannot wait to see what the future brings.”

Stagebox offer intensive musical theatre training for seven to 16-year-olds who audition for places on the group.

LJ said: “Giving Stageboxers TV, Film and Theatre opportunities that are on a par with all major southern schools and agencies is our main ambition.”
