TWO people have been seriously injured in a road crash on the A168 at Boroughbridge.
It involved a red Honda CBR1100 motorcycle and a blue Ford Fiesta car which collided at the crossroads of Leeming Lane and Highfield Lane on Tuesday, April 5, at 5.30am.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 34-year-old man from Thirsk, and the car driver, a 25-year-old man from Northallerton, suffered serious injuries in the collision and were taken to hospital where they remain in a stable condition.
A 20-year-old man who was travelling in the car has been released from hospital following treatment for minor injuries.
The A168 was closed until 11am while police and the Highways Agency cleared the scene.
