Fatal crash on bypass

A MAN has died after the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a coach on the A19 Easingwold bypass.

The crash happened on Monday, April 18, at around 5.35pm.

The coach was carrying around 40 elderly people but its driver was uninjured and none of the passengers received serious injuries, although a number of passengers – described by police as “walking wounded” – had minor injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene.
