WEB VOTE: Is dog fouling getting worse?

Dog wardens collected 179 piles of left over dog waste on a 100m stretch of footpath in Ripon.

Dog wardens collected 179 piles of left over dog waste on a 100m stretch of footpath in Ripon.

This week, the Ripon Gazette reported on the anger of residents near a dog fouling hotspot in the city.

Dog wardens visited a footpath near the former Cathedral Choir School on Whitcliffe Lane and were forced to bag 179 bags of poop left behind by lazy pet owners on just 100m of pathway.

We have also had correspondence from readers about dog fouling on sports fields elsewhere in Ripon.

We want to know: do you think the problem of dog fouling on our footpaths, play areas and sports fields is getting worse or has improved compared with five years ago?
