WEB VOTE: Does the A61 between Ripon and Harrogate need more safety measures?

This week, one of our readers in a letter suggested there should be a 40mph speed limit on the A61 between Ripon and Harrogate.

Currently, the national speed limit (60mph for cars) applies to much of the road.

The A61 has seen a number of accidents over the years with many fatalities, including a Harrogate couple whose inquest we reported on last week.

So we are asking you: does the A61 need more safety measures?
