Church-goers in Sharow have launched a Vision Appeal which aims to see heating installed in their church building.

The parishioners of St John’s Church, Sharow, want to install a modern underfloor heating system and upgrade the church building’s lighting and sound systems, extend the kitchen and toilets, and replace pews with comfortable chairs.

The church hopes to make a more flexible and comfortable space for the community.

The appeal launched with a special service on Sunday, March 25.
