Traffic - A61 closed after crash

COMMUTERS faced long delays following a crash on the A61 near Harewood House this morning (Wednesday).

The road reopened a short time ago following the crash at 6.50am this morning, believed to have been between a car and a motorbike.

Commuters from Leeds had been diverted through the Harewood Estate, while those travelling out of Harrogate, including the No 36 Bus, had been sent up Pool Bank.

The road was closed as ambulance crews and police attended the scene, but reopened shortly before 9am.
