School's outstanding report

TODAY marks the end of the school term and the start of the long, summer holidays but Aspin Park Primary School in Knaresborough has more than one reason to celebrate.

Following its recent Ofsted inspection, the school staff and pupils are celebrating after receiving an ‘outstanding’ grading for the second time in three years.

A delighted headteacher, Nick Long said: “The report is testament to all the hard work children and adults put in at Aspin, and the report is even more special under an inspection framework that does appear to have become more rigorous.”
