Runners warm up for charity
THOUSANDS of fundraisers will take to the streets of Tyneside next month - and numerous runners from the Harrogate district will be among them.
The Great North Run takes place on Sunday, September 19, offering the chance to raise money for numerous good causes by completing the 13-mile route.
Each year dozens of runners from across the district raise thousands of pounds with support from family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.
If you are taking part this year, send your name, address, age and chosen charity details to ackrill.news@ypn.co.uk. We will feature as many people as we can before the run - and don't forget to let us know how you got on and how much you raised when it's all over.
