Ripon police seek owners of stolen jewellery
Ripon Police recovered a stash of stolen jewellery as part of a burglary investigation (S)
Ripon police are asking the owners of a hoard of stolen jewellery to come forward after several items were recovered as part of a burglary investigation.
The items include watches, rings, earrings and pendants. Photographs have been uploaded to North Yorkshire Police’s website.
PC Simon Pape of Ripon police said: “We have investigated a number of burglaries in the Ripon area and have charged a man in connection with the offences.
“These items of jewellery were discovered as a result of our enquiries, however, so far, no-one has come forward to claim them.
“We would like to re-unite the jewellery with its rightful owner and are appealing for people to get in touch with us if they recognise any of the items from the photographs.”
Anyone who believes the items might be theirs are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Simon Pape.
