Police are investigating overnight burglaries in Ripon.

Two Ripon men and one man from Cleveland have been arrested in connection with overnight sneak-in burglaries in the city last week.

The silver Vauxhall stolen during a string of burglaries in Ripon on January 2-3 has also been recovered.

The car was taken from Wemyss Road, after the car keys were snatched from inside a house on the street.

A handbag containing cash and a card credit was also stolen from a property on Claro Road and benches and bird tables were taken from a garden on Magdalen’s Road. A car was also found damaged by police on the same street.

Police have now recovered the garden items, which were found dumped elsewhere in the city.

All three men are currently on police bail.

If anyone has any information, call North Yorkshire Police on 101, citing reference number 107/030113.
