A CONFERENCE offering information on services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities is taking place in Ripon.

The event organised by North Yorkshire PACT – the parent forum which supports children with additional needs – takes place at Ripon Racecourse on Wednesday, May 2, from 10am - 3.30pm.

The conference will be made up of a mixture of speakers, briefing sessions and information stalls covering a wide-range of topics such as Disability Living Allowance for children, and options and support available for children from Year 9 onwards including post-16 choices like further education and work.
