Friarage public meeting called
A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the future of services at The Friarage Hospital is being held this month.
NHS Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will hold the meeting on Monday, September 17, to discuss its recommendations around the future of children’s and maternity services at The Friarage Hospital.
The papers for the meeting will be published on the CCG’s website by 5pm on Tuesday,September 11.
The meeting will take place from 10am to 12pm at The Main Hall, Hambleton Forum, Bullamoor Road, Northallerton.
There will be a 20 minute question and answer session at the beginning of the meeting with questions submitted in advance.
Following the meeting, recommendations will be taken to the Board of NHS North Yorkshire and York for approval on September 25.
If major change is approved, a formal public consultation will begin.
