Engineer Mark wins Gold award

Engineer Mark Flintoft, from Leeming Bar in North Yorkshire, has been named as the brightest up-and-coming young talent in the processing and packaging industry.

Mark has won the PPMA’s annual Ones to Watch competition.

Mark, 26, a Technical Manager at Quasar Automation, won after the judges singled out his versatility and commitment.

Mark said: “It feels great to be recognised for my work - especially from my peers in the industry.

“The other finalists were top professionals, so it’s a special honour to be given the Gold Award.”
