Cyclist injured in hit-and-run collision

The collision happened at the junction where Low and High Skellgate meet Water Skellgate. (S)

A 61-YEAR-old woman cyclist required hospital treatment after she was in collision with a car which failed to stop in Ripon.

The incident involving a small, metallic blue hatchback happened at the junction where Low and High Skellgate meet Water Skellgate on Sunday, April 8, at 2pm.

The woman was released from hospital after receiving treatment for minor injuries.

Any witnesses or anyone who has information about the car is asked to contact Traffic Constable Stuart Holden by telephone on 101.
