Wath Street Fair: preparations are now in hand for the fair to be held on Saturday, July 13. This is always a fantastic day with loads of stalls and attractions. Celebrity guest to open the proceedings! Next meeting at Samwaies Hall Tuesday, June 4, 7pm. Photographic Competition: as part of the fundraising for the Wath Street Fair in aid of St Mary’s Church, Wath, there be will the second photographic competition on the theme of Yorkshire Life. All ages welcome. For more details, Contact Julie Prescott on 01765 640093 or jeprescott@aol.com.

Norton Conyers Open Gardens: the gardens will be open on Sunday, June 16 in aid of National Garden Scheme between 2-5pm. Teas for Marie Curie. An admission fee will be charged. The gardens will also be open June 1-3, 8-10, 22, 24, 29 when admission will be free.

Grass Cutting: St Mary’s Church, Wath would like to hear from anyone who is able to spend a few hours each week to help with grass cutting over the summer months. We would pay £10 per hour for the grass to be cut and kept tidy at least once every 10 days. Mower and petrol provided. Would suit school/college student looking for some extra money.
