The Druids Song: at The Bivouac, High Knowle, near Masham on Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2. Join the Bivouac for a creative weekend of musical activities, led by singer Caroline Challis. Write your own song inspired by the mystical setting of Bivouac and the 19th century Druids Temple nearby. You can explore the sights and sounds around to see how nature can inspire to make music and there is even the chance to perform your brand new song at the end of the weekend. Suitable for ages seven to 13 year olds. The cost is £35 per child, parents are free. In the evening there is Busking at the Bar when three musicians are performing in the Bivouac café. Traidcraft and Coffee Morning: at Masham Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, June 1 from 10.30am-noon. Fairly traded goods include tea, coffee, chocolate, breakfast cereals, dried fruits, honey, stationery and household products from around the world. The coffee morning is in aid of Meka’s Australian Adventure.

A new Parent/Carer Support Group: is organised by NYCC and takes place at Masham Town Hall on Tuesday, June 4 and every first Tuesday of the month from 9am. Come along to have a cup of tea or coffee and cake in a relaxed and informal environment. Share experiences, concerns and dilemmas that you may have at the moment. Junior Rendezvous: all children from Year 1 to 6 are very welcome at Masham Methodist Church Hall on Wednesday, June 5 from 6pm. Organised fun, games, crafts and more. If you are interested in joining the group, please call Hazel Booth on 01765 689809.
Community Meal: each Wednesday evening, Bivouac host an evening to get together, relax and enjoy delicious food from 5.30pm. These are very relaxed evenings giving everyone a chance to gather at Bivouac to enjoy and celebrate our community around a big banquet meal. Pre-booking is essential, by calling 01765 535020. St Paul’s Healey Quiz Sheet: what is in the wardrobe and the elements? Quiz sheets are £1 and available from the Community Office and RF Broadleys or by self-addressed-envelope to Tez Robson, Stott Fold Farm, Healey, Ripon, HG4 3LU. The winner receives £15 and is to be drawn on Monday, July 1.
Kell Bank School: the gardening club would like old garden pots, old glass vases and old wicker baskets in any condition, but not plastic. It does not matter if they have chips or cracks. If you have any to donate, please take them to Kell Bank School or call 01765 689 410 to arrange collection.
Do you travel: to Bedale or Northallerton every day? Can you help? A local Masham student is looking for a way to get to Northallerton College each day to study for a childcare qualification.
