Major road shut between Leeds and Harrogate after A658 'incident'
A main road between Leeds and Harrogate was shut off this afternoon following an "incident".
Heavy traffic built up on the A658 Harrogate Road, which was reportedly closed both ways near North Rigton.
The incident reportedly took place between Dunkeswick Lane to Church Hill, affecting traffic between Harrogate and Pool in Wharfedale.
Neither West Yorkshire Police or North Yorkshire Police could immediately confirm what has happened.
