Major delays on A1 after North Yorkshire crash
Drivers are being warned to expect delays on the A1 after an accident today.
The crash took place this morning between the A6136 and A166 junctions near Catterick.
Although all lanes on the northbound carriageway have now re-opened, clean-up and recovery work is still ongoing and queues are likely.
The incident has caused disruption for race-goers heading to a meeting at Sedgefield in County Durham.
