Pupils in Class One at North Stainley Primary School were excited to watch their new playhouse being built in their outdoor area this week.

The school secured funding from The Mukherjee Brothers Charitable Trust and commissioned the special wonky playhouse to be designed and built by local social enterprise Jennyruth Workshops in Bridge Hewick.

Calverts Carpets and Flooring in Ripon kindly donated the carpet inside to make it feel more like home.

Class One teacher Miss Lord said: “The children are looking forward to choosing different themes for it each term, from a cafe to a Gruffalo’s house, the possibilities are endless with their imaginations.”
