An outline application for 10 detached houses has been submitted to Leeds City Council (LCC).

The proposed development for Northgate Lane/Tibgarth in Linton was put forward by Kebbell Developments Ltd.

The demarkated site is 10.2 acres of privately-owned rough grassland, with existing developments to the south, west, and much of the east.

Known as the golden triangle, there is a high demand for residential development in the area.

Sales and marketing manager at Kebbell Homes Andrea Fawell said: “Our proposed Ridge Meadows development will feature designs driven by a response to maintain the distinct character of Linton.

“Our homes are always carefully designed to fit comfortably alongside existing homes and buildings, with much consideration given to designing homes that are sympathetic to the area.

“Of the responses we have received from the immediate neighbourhood, to whom the leaflet was delivered, all have potentially expressed an interest to purchase one of the proposed homes.

“This confirms there is a demand for high quality residential development in this area.”
