Church services: Rev Caroline Falkingham will celebrate the Eucharist (BCP) at 9am on Sunday in St Andrew’s Church. The mid week communion service will be held at 10.30am on Wednesday. The Easter communion service will be held at 10.30am.
Chapel service: Sunday worship will be led by Rev Pat Malham at 10.30am on Sunday in the Ebenezer chapel. The service on Easter Sunday morning will be at 9.15am.

Parish council meeting: members of Kirkby Malzeard, Laverton and Dallowgill parish council meet in the mechanics’ institute at 7.15pm on Monday.
Women’s Fellowship: Rev Susan Richardson will be the members’ guest at their meeting in the chapel school room on Wednesday. It begins at 2.15pm.
Quiz: at St George’s Court in Grantley on Tuesday, April 2. It starts at 7.30pm, tickets are £7.50 and include a three course supper.
Kirkby Malzeard WI: meet in the mechanics’ institute at 7.15pm on Wednesday, April 3. The speaker will be Claire Spooner and she will talk about millinery in miniature.
Kirkby Malzeard Players: are staging Gosforth’s Fete, a one act play by Alan Ayckbourn, at 7.30pm on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 in the mechanics’ institute. There will be supper and additional entertainment. Tickets go on sale at Kirkby Stores on Monday, April 1 and are limited to 60 per performance.
Aldfield - Church service: Rev Caroline Falkingham will celebrate the Eucharist at 9am on Sunday in St Lawrence’s Church. The Easter morning service will be a celebration of the Eucharist at 10.30am.
Dallowgill - Chapel service: at 2pm on Sunday there will be a service of the sacrament in Dallowgill chapel. Rev Susan Richardson will be the celebrant. The Easter morning service will be at the Chapel of the Resurrection and begins at 6am.
Dawn service: the interdenominational service, led by the Rev Susan Richardson and the Rev Caroilne Falkingham, begins at 6am on Easter day with a bonfire in the churchyard, followed by a short service inside the Chapel of the Resurrection and refreshments.
Galphay - Lent lunches: the final lent lunch takes place at Newfield, Galphay. Lent lunches raise funds for Christian Aid.
Highside Folk dance club: members take a break over Easter and meet again in the village institute from 8pm to 10pm on Friday, April 5 with Pauline Singleton. The charge is £3 for adults and 50p for children.
Azerley Parish Council: meet in the village institute at 7.30pm next Thursday, March 28. This will also be the Galphay annual parish meeting.
Grantley - Domino drive: Fountains playgroup and pre-school is holding a domino drive at the Black Swan in Fearby on Tuesday. It begins at 7.30pm, entry is £2 and there will be a raffle and supper.
Young farmers: Winksley cum Grantley young farmers meet in the village hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
Dancing: This will be held in the village hall from 7.30pm to 10pm next Thursday, March 28.
Bags2school: a total of £240 was raised for Fountains pre-school and playgroup from the recent Bags2school collection. Thank you to everyone who contributed items for this
Sawley - Church service: there will be communion by extension, led by Adrian Roberts, at 10.30am on Sunday at the Church of St Michael and All Angels.
Easter service: there will be a united service at Sawley chapel at 2pm on Easter day.
Chapel service: there is no service on Sunday in Sawley chapel but the united service for Easter day begins at 2pm.
Afternoon tea: will be served at 2pm on Friday, March 29 in the village hall.
Workshop: Sawley Arts group is organising another printing workshop for beginners. Hester Cox will be the tutor and it will be held in the village hall from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, April 6. The fee of £15 includes materials and tea and coffee. To book a place please phone Ted on 01765 620250.
