NHS users in Harrogate district next week have the chance to discuss how they feel the service is performing.
The Harrogate and Rural District Clinical Commissioning Group will host its first public involvement forum at the Majestic Hotel on Ripon Road in Harrogate next Tuesday, July 2.
The ‘Seeking Your Experience’ forum begins at 6.30pm.
Amanda Bloor, Chief Officer at Harrogate and Rural District CCG, said: “We are fully committed to involving people in developing local health services. During 2012/13 whilst we were in ‘shadow form’ we spent time talking to people about the best way to do this.
“Since we took over responsibility for commissioning local health services those plans have been set in motion.
“We’ll be talking to people about shaping local services at our first public involvement forum on 2 July. We’ll be holding these events twice a year and it’s a great opportunity for us to engage with people about their experiences.”
The event will feature presentations from GPs from the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) followed by discussion sessions where people will be invited to share their experiences of GP out-of-hours services, long term health conditions, services for people with skin problems (dermatology services), dementia care and visits to hospital for outpatient appointments.
Places at the event are limited, to register interest, call 01423 799319 or email email@example.com
