THE children’s ward at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton has new toys and games thanks to the generosity of Hambleton District Council staff.

The staff held dress-down days and raised £600 which has bought the play equipment that will be used on the ward and at local children’s centres.

Pictured at the toy hand-over are Hambleton council communication manager Aly Thompson and communication officer Alison Oldfield with young patient Sam Waring and mother Nicola along with ward staff Diane Wallace, Chris Kyle and Anne Wall. (S)
