Entries for the Gazette’s Jubilee/Olympics art competition –run in conjunction with the Ripon Jubilee 2012 Working Party and Blue Brick Healthcare – have gone on display at the former Wheatsheaf site on Harrogate Road.

Les Chaplin, of Blue Brick Healthcare – which is developing a care home at the site – is pictured by one of the displays featuring the design of Theo Dormer, who won the eight to 10-year-olds category.

Les said: “The works of art will remain on display until the home opens in autumn of next year.”
