“In each Key Stage there was a male and female sub category to compete for as well as the coveted Team Cup,” explained a Harrogate Grammar spokesman.

“This year’s Team Cup was hotly contested with Harrogate Grammar School just pipping Greenhead College to the title and in doing so winning the whole competition and The Depot Schools Cup 2016, which is a fantastic achievement.”

The following pupils represented Harrogate Grammar School: Kim Mountney – 1st in the KS3 female category; Iris Eastaugh – 3rd in the KS3 female; Ellen Young – 1st in the KS4 female; Holly Rayfield – 1st in the KS5 female; Ethan McGinn – 2nd in the KS4 male; Adam Visick – 2nd in the KS5 male.
