Two Gold medal-winning British Paralympians have paid a visit to Roecliffe Primary School, near Boroughbridge, to discuss the upcoming Paralympic Games.

They were husband and wife Barney and Sarah Storey. Cyclist Barney has won two Paralympic Golds acting as a sighted ‘pilot’ for blind or partially-sighted athletes in tandem track events, while Sarah – who was born without a functioning left hand – has won seven Golds in two disciplines, cycling and swimming.
