A DISHFORTH schoolgirl has come up with a brand new logo for the Boroughbridge Family Cycle Day.
Seven-year-old Hannah Clark had the winning entry in a competition to find a logo for the booming annual event, which this year attracted more than 280 cyclists.
Hannah is in Year 2 at Dishforth Primary School and her design has been turned into a logo which will be used on all the cycle day’s advertising.
Her prize includes a £25 Halfords voucher, a cycle goodie bag and a one-hour cycle lesson for Years 1, 2 and 3 at her school, courtesy of Safe Kids Cycle Group (Skids).
Second prize went to Rosie Taylor of Roecliffe Primary School, and third prize to Eden Williams in Year 1 at Dishforth Primary.
More than 90 children entered the competition run by Yorevision, Boroughbridge Lions and Skids.
