Witnesses to Post Office argument sought

Police investigating an altercation in Ripon city centre are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Staff at the Post Office on Finkle Street reported seeing two men and a woman arguing in the entrance foyer on Friday, November 14, at around 11.35am.

It is believed that the woman was in possession of a Swiss Army-style knife.

Following the altercation all three people went their separate ways.

Officers are trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
