Ripon police would like information on the following incidents which happened in the city.

Tuesday, January 28:

– A 22-year-old old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after windows to a property on Waterskellgate were smashed. He has been released on bail.

Thursday, January 30:

–Two bikes were stolen at around 0.15am from an address on Oak Road. Described as white mountain bike with blue forks and suspension front and back plus a grey and yellow mountain bike with one red rimmed wheel and an x-rated seat.

–A purse was stolen from a shopper’s handbag in Morrisons supermarket at 11.30am.

– A black Vauxhall Vectra described as not having any registration plates filled up with £39 of petrol and drove away without paying at Morrisons.

Friday, January 31:

– Two men attempted to steal cash from the counter of a shop on North Street, at 4.30pm. The men made off empty handed after being challenged.

Saturday to Sunday, February 2-3:

– A shop window to the value of £150 was smashed on North Street overnight.
