Pub attack leaves man needing stitches

A man needed stitches for a cut to his cheek after he and another man were attacked in a pub in Boroughbridge.

The attack happened at the Three Horse Shoes on Bridge Street in the early hours of Saturday, December 20.

Police said one of the victims, a 43-year-old local man, had to go to hospital for treatment to his left cheek after the assualt by a group of younger men.

Officers are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
